Ethical business Practices
Goodyear is committed to conducting business in an ethical manner. The
phrase “We Value Our Good Name” is a hallmark of our company and we remain
steadfast in our efforts to maintain the good name of Goodyear.
That’s why Goodyear established a department for compliance and ethics in
2005. It is responsible for compliance, ethics and privacy issues on a global
basis. To maintain accountability, the Committee on Corporate Responsibility
and Compliance of the Board of Directors is updated on a regular basis on
ethics and compliance activities. Committee members take an active role in
reviewing the activities and processes designed to uphold our commitment
to ethical behavior.
Compliance
Goodyear expects every associate to know and understand the company’s ethics
policy. All associates are given a copy of the Goodyear Business Conduct Manual.
The Manual defines the behaviors necessary to support the high standards of
Goodyear, and every associate must agree to act in accordance with it.
Salaried associates are required to certify that they have read the Goodyear
Business Conduct Manual, understand it and are willing to abide by the guidelines.
Recertification, required on a regular basis, is a condition of employment.

every Goodyear facility.
