Every Goodyear plant annually develops a monitoring plan assuring the safe
operation of the workplace.
We manage a global Material Safety Data Sheet
system containing  87,000 MSDS documents
available in 15 languages. Goodyear promotes the
value of industrial hygiene as part of a total health
and safety program, and takes a proactive approach
to help improve the quality of life and eliminate
environmentally-related illness and injury.
In 2006, Goodyear:
- Performed 7,318 Industrial Hygiene assessments.
- Assessed exposures to solvents, monomers,
metals, dust, fume, noise and other chemical and physical agents.
- Shared results with associates.
