Scott Honnold was elected Vice President & Treasurer of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in June 2010 and has responsibility for Goodyear’s Treasury and Risk Managment functions.
He joined the company as Assistant Treasurer, Capital Markets and Risk Management in November 2007.
Prior to joining Goodyear, Honnold was Senior Vice President of Planning and Administration for Saks Incorporated’s Saks Department Store Group from 2003 to 2007. He previously was the retailer’s Vice President & Treasurer from 1999 to 2003.
Honnold also worked as Vice President & Treasurer of Books-A-Million, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer of its e-commerce division from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Corporate Finance at NationsBank, where he worked from 1993 to 1997.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Ithaca College in 1987 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management in 1993.
Honnold was born December 11, 1964, in Syracuse, New York.
