Executive Leadership
Darren Wells is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, a position he has held since October 17, 2008.
Previously, he had served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy since March 2007 and, prior to that, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Treasurer since May 2005.
Wells joined Goodyear as Vice President and Treasurer in August 2002.
Previously, Wells was Assistant Treasurer of Visteon Corp. for two years, where he led the development of a treasury operation, as the parts manufacturer was spun-off from Ford Motor Co. Wells joined Ford in 1989.
Born December 25, 1965, in Indianapolis, Wells has a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind., and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
Wells and his wife have four children, and presently reside in Hudson, Ohio.
In October 2012, Wells was named "CFO of the Year" by Crain's Cleveland Business. He was selected in the large public companies category. Wells was also listed among America's top CFOs for 2012 by ExecRank.
