FOUND! ONE 1917 PACKARD
Derelict and forlorn, this Packard truck was found abandoned in a northern Minnesota swamp, where it had sat idle for a least 40 years. Investigation proved it to be a 1917 series E three-ton model, the exact model Goodyear purchased in the spring of 1917 to prove its case for over-the-road hauling on pneumatic truck tires.
