AKRON, Ohio - Zakariah Ahmad has been appointed managing director, Goodyear-Philippines, effective Oct. 1.

Ahmad replaces Steve MacDonald who was appointed assistant managing director, Dunlop, U.K., Ltd.

Most recently Ahmad was director, materials management for Goodyear's Asia region, headquartered in Akron. Prior to his assignment in Akron, Ahmad held a similar position in Malaysia,his native country.

Ahmad will be replaced by Brian Fisher, formerly manager of sales and marketing for Goodyear's Asia region in Akron.
