Goodyear Issues New Truck Tire Comparison Chart
#21917tt-1099

AKRON, Ohio, Oct. 20 - Do you have trouble remembering if a G397 LHS has the equivalent application of a KLH I or a TY203A? Or was it the SP431A? Considering the number of tire brands, lines and service vocations out there today, it can be hard to keep up with all of them without a program.

To help keep track of the myriad of letters and numbers, Goodyear is issuing its new Commercial Radial Truck Tire Application and Comparison Guide.

The guide is a comprehensive chart of more than 300 radial truck tires broken down by brand, application, tread type and profile. Tread depths are listed next to each tire.

In addition, a separate chart in the comparison guide looks at Goodyear's available radial tire sizes by load range, and yet another provides the load ratings and inflation data for all of Goodyear's radial truck tires.

"Our goal was to design an up-to-date and easy-to-use guide for dealers, fleet managers and independent truckers," said Mike Thomann, marketing director for Goodyear Commercial Tires. "It is important that drivers and fleet managers choose the correct tire for the their individual applications."

The guides can be obtained by contacting a regional Goodyear sales office.
