GOODYEAR SELF-SERVICE PORTAL — FOR ENROLLMENT AND BEYOND
The Self-Service Portal makes enrolling in your benefits easy and convenient. You will enroll by logging on to selfservice.goodyear.com.
ENTER YOUR DOCTOR’S NAME
It’s true: a primary care provider (PCP) helps keep you healthy, provides a home base for all your medical needs, and is your go-to resource when you’re sick. Visiting a PCP in non-emergency situations can also help lower healthcare costs.
This year, during online enrollment or by calling the Goodyear Associate Service Center, you will be prompted to enter your primary care provider for you and for your dependents. If you do not have a primary care provider, you will be able to search for and select a provider during this step.
Registering your personal primary care provider will be a future requirement to earn your Healthy Choice Incentive. Take advantage of registering your physician now during this year’s Annual Enrollment.
NEW: HSA/FSA ADMINISTRATOR—HEALTHEQUITY
Beginning January 1, 2018, HealthEquity will replace BenefitWallet as Goodyear’s partner responsible for providing Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) administration.
HealthEquity will provide improvements in the areas of customer service, online access, education and investment options.
If you have an HSA—When you enroll online, you will see a checkbox that you must click in order to agree to transfer your existing HSA to a new HealthEquity account. If you do not transfer your HSA, and you choose the Consumer Select HDHP for 2018, you will have two HSAs—one with BenefitWallet and one (starting January 1, 2018) with HealthEquity.
If you are impacted by this change, you will receive a letter in the mail with more information. To learn more, go to healthequity.com/goodyear.
It’s no secret that healthcare costs continue to rise. That’s why each year, we carefully review our benefit programs to maintain our commitment to offer high-quality coverage for our associates.
Most plans will see increases in premiums for your healthcare options.
Visit the Self-Service Portal starting October 16 to see how these changes will impact you. You’ll be able to review your personalized rates and compare your plan options.
Goodyear is committed to providing you with the information and tools you need to successfully enroll in and get the most out of your Goodyear benefits. It’s important that you take time to explore your options and enroll in the plans that are right for you and your family.
