Finding your tire size

The tire size (P215/60R16 in this example) can be found on the sidewall of your tires. Take a close look to make sure that you have all of the correct information.

Passenger Tires

Most tires will have the size indicated on the tire's sidewall in the following order:

  • 1.Tire Width (215 in example)
  • 2.Aspect Ratio (60 in example)
  • 3.Rim Diameter (16 in example)

High-Flotation Tires

High-flotation tires will indicate the size on the sidewall in the following order:

  • 1.Overall Diameter (35 in example)
  • 2.Section Width (12.5 or 1250 in example)
  • 3.Rim Diameter (17 in example)
