Got these tires for my wrangler unlimited. Loud from the start, but not the worst. After 20,000 miles, not only were they unbearably loud, but they started causing a huge front end vibration. Had the mechanic check for failed front end components, he said everything was great. Said that the bands shifted in the tires and that they were junk. Went back to discount tire, they said it happens every time with this tire. Nothing they could do. Says Goodyear will not take them back. Total junk. Out $1100 after 1 year. Would never buy again. Total waste.

I've always been a Goodyear man. They make the best tires. There are some all terrain tires they have that doesn't fit my Tahoe LS. What a drag. But these Duratracs are probably the best tires I put on the ol gal. I cannot wait for Winter to really test them out. I prefer snow over mud. And most of all. My wife likes them.

Great looking AND great performing tire ! Unbelievably quiet on pavement. I had been running the Goodyear Wrangler Authority’s from Walmart. They were good, but the Duratracs have much deeper tread and are really quiet. I run a lot in the woods through mud and rocks, slick clay, steep hills and these are great ! Expensive but worth it !! I have these tires on my 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport 4X4 with a 2.5” lift. I had run 2 sets of the Walmart Goodyear Wrangler Authority’s that lasted about 5 years each set but It seemed that the sidewalls had too much flex unless you aired them to 50 lbs psi Or more !. The Duratracs are on 38 lbs in the rear as I tow an old John Deere 6x4 Gator on a heavy steel trailer. These tires work great even in the rain with the trailer behind. Total weight towing is about 2500 lbs. these tires don’t bat an eye at the Forest Service Roads in Western N Carolina and the rough trails we run. If they last close to how long the Walmart Wraglers lasted, I’ll buy more !
